Our Health and Safety Management System enables us to provide a safe and secure environment for our employees, partners, and stakeholders.
The policy is aligned with ISO 45001:2018 standards, as well as all applicable health and safety regulations. This policy emphasizes our commitment to safeguarding the well-being of everyone involved, highlighting the critical importance we place on meeting and exceeding statutory and regulatory health and safety requirements.
We shall integrate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) into all operations and business processes to give us a competitive advantage, and meet corporate goals.
In order to achieve this, we shall:
Identify and manage internal and external business risks and opportunities that affect our plan to consistently meet customer and other interested parties requirements, provide safe and healthy work site, protect and secure our environment and ensure a harmonious relationship with our host community.
Set up processes to identify and meet applicable legislations, regulations, contract specifications and other requirements, including conformity with ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 standards. Monitor and review customers’ feedback and undertake measures to guarantee customers’ satisfaction.
Establish and define responsibilities and authorities to ensure processes are delivering customer requirements, HSE objectives, mitigating health and safety risk, and potential environmental impacts, including but not limited to prevention of environmental pollution in line with our HSE Management System.
Set HSE objectives in line with this policy, and develop strategies to continually improve the performance of our business processes and HSE management system. Track our processes to identify any nonconformity and initiate corrective actions to address deviation.
Manage the process of engaging suppliers and subcontractors and ensure externally provided products and services meet defined HSE specifications and requirements, and also, planning and implementing changes to our HSE Management System for sustainability and to maintain integrity.
Ensure that processes are in place for the implementation of appropriate hierarchy of hazards control, and appropriate emergency responses. Review the performance of our HSE Management System and its ability to meet planned outcomes.
Establish and maintain processes for the consultation and participation of workers in our HSE management system, monitor objectives to address actions in line with this HSE Policy and drive continual improvement.
Effectively communicate this HSE policy and ensure it is understood throughout our organization and made available to employees, contractors and interested parties. Foster a culture in which all interested parties share this commitment. Regularly review this policy for improved effectiveness and ensure HSE goals are achieved at all times. Top management accepts full accountability for the implementation of this HSE policy.
