Montego Reaches Milestone Achievement of 1million Man Hours with Zero Lost Time Injury

Montego Upstream Services Ltd recently reached the enviable milestone of 1,000,000 (One Million) Man Hours with Zero Lost Time Injury (LTI). This achievement adds another feather to Montego's already colourful cap and reinforces the Group's commitment to carrying out our operations by observing the highest safety standards. Montego, an ISO certified company, has various projects running across Nigeria and parts of Sub-Saharan Africa, with over 900 personnel working daily across these project sites.

With the recent award of a certificate of appreciation by the contactor at NNPC's Port-Harcourt Refining Company, one of our project locations, for the achieving 1million Man Hours with Zero LTI, our team of professionals continue to demonstrate our core value of safety. It remains our charge to provide a safe and conducive working environment for all members of our team, conduct safety and risk assessments regularly as well as Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) as part of our internal processes aimed at ensuring every task is executed safely and all team members go home safely to their families.

Our safety record and this achievement intensify our drive to maintain our standard of safety where it calls for, and improve in areas where there is need to. We look forward to the next 2million Man Hours with Zero LTI and congratulate our team on this laudable achievement.
